Woolly Woodlanders is a world of tiny creatures dressed in delightfully detailed and crafted garments designed by Hazel Jenkin. Hazel has created these patterns to add another dimension to the world of the timeless and and very collectable Sylvanians, Forest Families and Calico Critters.

Hazel’s own Sylvanian world is owned by children and grandchildren and after many years of play, several little animals had lost or damaged their outfits, so she set out to create a new wardrobe for the little citizens. Their young owners loved these new outfits and Hazel was encouraged to design new collections.  Many of the patterns have been adapted to fit more than one size, enabling an animal family to wear coordinated clothes!

Woolly Woodlanders clothes do not scale up for regular dolls, as Sylvanian and Calico Critter creatures have a very different shape and proportion. Hazel says, “I have set out to design some simple clothes which can be knitted by new and inexperienced knitters, while other designs will be a delightful challenge for the skilled miniature knitter.”

Several new designs are in the development stage and will be on the site soon. Please browse our patterns and enjoy the world of Woolly Woodlanders ...
